I like this style because it clips to the rollers, but its only connection to the bumper is by a cable. This allows for the license plate to be moved out of the way, so that you can see exactly what the winch/cable is doing. The problem with folding mounts is that they don't fold completely out of the way. The other plus is that the mount doesn't have to move in just two directions, up or down. So if you slide in to a rock or a snow bank, the clips can just pop of of the rollers instead of bending or sheering off.
