5 of 5 RH 4x4 Rear Bumper...and solution for alarm. January 24, 2021
Reviewer: Tom P. from Goodyear AZ
I've had my Rock Hard steel rear bumper and swinging tire carrier for over a year now.   Like it allot.    One issue I had was the backup alarm would trigger all too often.   I kept fooling with the spare tire to silence it.....however I finally recognized that the Steel Recovery Rings were what was triggering the alarm.   I removed them and BINGO....end of issue.   Now I keep these shackles in my recovery bag.    If going on a major trail ride.....I may install the recovery points prior to the ride.

5 of 5 This thing is a beast! August 9, 2020

This is one hell of a bumper combo! Arrived via freight on a pallet at over 250 pounds. Relatively easy to install (you will need a 2nd set of hands).

Be warned if you need to splice the existing wiring harness you run a risk of damaging the backup sensors (if you have them), as the harness isn't long enough. Had to take it back to the dealer to fix the sensors (they had to replace the entire harness) and it wasn't covered under warranty (ouch). So your mileage may vary here.

However, now that everything is fixed again, this is a beast of a set up, looks awesome, and is very secure. Love that it has an automatic stop when it's open so it won't swing back and forth on you without lifting the pin.

Only thing we'll wind up correcting is the rubber grip over the swing gate release handle ... it slides  off easily when you lift the handle to release the gate. Hoping some gorilla glue, etc. will fix it as the rubber grip is a nice touch.

All in all I recommend this setup.
