The installation was simple and can be done solo. The plate reinforces the existing tank carrer/skid plate and requires minimal drilling.

JKU skid plates
Installed the entire skid plate set to protect my JKU over rocks and other obstacles, and WOW! Amazing protection and simple to follow install video. Installed the entire set on a Saturday morning and was done by lunch. Using a floor jack made holding the skid plates in place much easier when bolting them on. The gas tank skid was a bit of work to pry over in place. Ultimately, I needed to use a smaller bolt on the right front hole and insert a washer, lock washer and nut on top. Definitely take the time to drill the 3 additional holes on the gas tank skid. Also, I needed to remove the AEV read differential skid to drill one of the mounting holes. Added a few extra minutes, but worth it IMO. Looked like the rear end of the skid plate would bounce up and down without the additional mounting bolts. Highly recommend this skid plate set!

The Rock Hard 4X4 gas tank skid is very high quality. All of the welds were fantastic. It fit perfectly on the Jeep. Definitely a major upgrade over the factory skid, mine was already smashed pretty good.
