This is the main Sports Cage which includes everything from the Jeep CJ7 factory bar forward to the dash and it fits hard tops or soft tops. Dash brackets are mounted with 3 bolts at the triangle shaped plate and the other 3 bolts down the door post on both sides of your Jeep. All Sport Cages are complete bolt-in, you do not remove any of the factory sport cage to install our unit! This means no drilling, no welding. The Sports Cage fits Soft and Hardtops. All hardware is included.

Fitment Note: There are 2 styles of dash pads available for your CJ7 - a version that tapers narrower at the last 3" on each side and a version that stays the same width all the way across your dash. The style that tapers does not require trimming, the style that stays the same width does require minor trimming.

Fitment Note: Many 1979 CJ's may have an early 1978 rear cage installed by either the previous owner or factor leftover. You will know if your rear hoop mounts to your fender well (bolts on outside of tub above rear wheel wells). A true 1979 and later rear cage will mount to the floor behind the front seats. If your rear hoop is not for a true 1979 or later, you will need to order our RH-1007 cage section.
