Rock Hard 4x4 is very proud to offer the Heaviest Duty 1/4" Thick Control Arm Skid Plates for the Jeep JK D30/D44.

100% bolt-on skid plates for your vulnerable front lower control arm mounts. The OEM Dana 30 and 44 control arm mounts aren't braced or skid plated and are the lowest points on your rig. First to hit, first to break!

Total Weight: 5 lbs.

Our 1/4" thick skid plates are made from a solid sheet of steel then bent, formed, and hand welded into it's highly protective shape. Notched for zerk grease fittings found on common control arm joint upgrades.

NOTE: Not compatible with alignment cam bolts.

FAQ:
Why not weld on skid plates?
Unless you have hours to kill, not to mention a welder, go for it. We've found however that even weld-on versions aren't 1/4" thick steel.

Will these spin off during a hard impact?

No. Built in retention bends prevent the skid plate from rotating backwards.

Is any welding required?
No. Our mounting method allows for a DIY no-weld, truly bolt-in install.

What finish is available?
Rock Hard 4x4 skid plates ship powder coated black with a semi-smooth, semi-gloss finish.

Where is this mount made?
This product, like all RH4x4 parts, was designed, developed, tested, manufactured, and if applicable, powder coated, and shipped in the USA. And we don't mean the 75% legal standard to be able to say Made in USA. We are 100% Made in the United States of America!

I like the lower control arm skids for my 2016 JKU. I wheel pretty hard and destroyed one of the skids. So I ordered a replacement. Tough stuff control arm unscathed....Thank You Rock Hard 4x4!

Besides for my brackets being beaten up, these mounted up very easily.

Customer service was awesome! Asked to get the parts out quicker since I was wheeling that following weekend. "I can't make promises but we'll get it out asap"  part made it they day I asked for it!!!
